MIXED MEDIA

Naomi “DiVine” DeVore is a  multi-disciplinary, mixed-media artist based out of the Potentialist Workshop in Reno, NV.  Her visual artwork brings together elements of drawing, painting, etching, collage and assemblage by combining a wide variety of materials and found objects. She finds inspiration in the people around her and the ways that humans interact with their environment.  As an apprentice to Bret Tyler, DiVine has been learning new techniques for etching and vinyl signwork.

DiVine is a performance artist in addition to being a visual artist. She is a singer/songwriter and plays strings and percussion for a feline-themed folk/punk/jazz/funk band called Cat Stanley. They released their first demo “Dog Water Studio Sessions live” in October 2018. She’s been in 7 original theatre productions with the Potentialist in the last few years, breathing life into new characters on the stage.

When she’s not creating new works, she’s promoting other artists in her community. DiVine was on the board of directors for Cool Tapes Sound Collective in 2016, where she worked to connect local musicians and artists of all genres with a variety of venues in the area. In 2017, she was the curator for La Terre Verte Gifts and Gallery. Currently, she is a member of the board of directors for the Potentialist Workshop.
